‘Le Bateleur, there’s a Gryphon guarding my treasure … And I want it back.’

The magician Batel and his companions are dragged into a world of smugglers and corruption in the port town of Sirene. They have twenty-four hours to kill a Gryphon so that the treasure it guards is recovered. Fail and the smugglers will be forced to take drastic action endangering the lives of everyone living in Sirene.

And that is not the only danger looming, for the Gryphon is waiting for Batel … eager to test him and his ideals.
