SOR – Shock of a Lightningbolt

Zera smiled. He pointed Ramiel at the camera, its runes glowing. Seraph saw a bluish-white plasma forming on Ramiel’s surface, and watched as it was drawn to the blade’s tip. That’s plasma? It’s just like lightning. The lightning was discharged, striking the camera. Twenty-five microseconds elapsed. The camera stopped turning, its movement almost a corpse writhing. Arakiel vibrated in Seraph’s hand. That was almost instaneous. A flash then nothing.

Zera turned to the electric lock, Ramiel’s surface still covered with plasma. Again, lightning converged to Ramiel’s tip, fired as one bolt. A blinding flash of white assaulted the electric lock. The excess voltage surged through the circuitry of the security system, blowing fuses, taking out alarms. The door swung opened, welcoming them.
