Once, he was the highest Angel in Heaven with the Archangels assisting in maintaining order in all three domains. However one day, he fell due to his pride, believing he was the absolute power and ultimate authority. As a Fallen Angel, he converted scores to his followings or killed those who opposed him. The Archangels resisted his coup. Due to ‘divine intervention’, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven to Hell and stripped of his power. But, he survived and decided to overthrow Heaven by manipulating demons and stimulate their evolution to eventually overthrow the Archangels.
